Satawan Atoll is an atoll located about 250 km to the southeast of Chuuk. Geographically it is part of the Nomoi Islands or Mortlock Islands in the Caroline Islands and administratively it is part of Chuuk State in the Federated States of Micronesia. A Japanese airfield was located on the atoll during World War II.
